A NEW GARAGE FOR VINTAGE CARS WITH AN ARTIST'S STUDIO UPSTAIRS

Exline Design & Architecture (EDA) was commissioned by a very special client... he with a love of automotive restoration, and she with a love of the visual arts. The architectural solution complements an existing family heirloom home that was custom-designed in the mid-1970s, with an upscale Spanish Hacienda styling. The two-story addition is tied to the existing home with a covered walk, and supplements the existing three-car garage with three more enclosed parking places, and an artist's studio on the second level with stunning views to the adjacent park. The complex is contained within a secure garden wall, which creates an outdoor motor court for displaying the owner's impressive automotive collection of vintage cars.
